US embassy in Dhaka to process immigrant visas within two days

The United States Embassy in Dhaka has announced a major acceleration of its immigrant visa services, saying eligible applications can now be processed within two working days if all required documents are submitted correctly.

The announcement was made on Sunday through an official notice from the embassy's consular section and a post on its verified Facebook page.

The new measure, effective from June 1, aims to reduce waiting times and improve the efficiency of immigrant visa services in Bangladesh. According to the embassy, complete and error-free applications will be processed within two working days.

The embassy noted that applicants must ensure all required documents are submitted accurately to qualify for the expedited service.

Visa applicants have also been advised to review the immigrant visa section of the embassy's official visa directory for detailed requirements and instructions before applying.
