Tarique Rahman expands family card programme in Sreemangal
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Wednesday inaugurated the third phase of the Family Card programme in Sreemangal, marking the start of a day-long visit aimed at expanding social support initiatives and engaging with local leaders.
The programme was formally launched at Victoria High School Ground in Sreemangal around 1:00 pm, where the Prime Minister distributed Family Cards among beneficiaries. The initiative is part of the government's broader effort to ensure affordable access to essential commodities for low-income families across the country.
Following the inauguration, Tarique Rahman is scheduled to attend another Family Card distribution event at the Government High School Ground in Moulvibazar town at 2:30 pm.

Later in the day, he will participate in a meeting with party leaders at DuSai Resort to discuss organizational and development-related matters. After completing his engagements in Moulvibazar, the Prime Minister is expected to travel via Sylhet before returning to Dhaka in the evening.
