Brazil bounce back with dominant 3-0 win over Haiti

Brazil returned to winning ways at the FIFA World Cup with a convincing 3-0 victory over Haiti, as Matheus Cunha scored twice and Vinicius Junior added another to secure the Seleção's first win of the tournament.

After being held to a draw by Morocco in their opening match, Brazil produced a much-improved performance against Haiti on Saturday. Cunha opened the scoring in the 23rd minute after Vinicius' initial effort was saved, before doubling the lead in the 36th minute with a composed finish from Vinicius' assist.

Vinicius capped off an impressive first-half display by adding Brazil's third goal in first-half stoppage time, beating the goalkeeper with a brilliant solo effort. Earlier, Raphinha had a goal ruled out for offside and also missed a clear opportunity before Brazil found their breakthrough.
