Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has called for a nationwide movement to press for the implementation of the July Charter, warning that political disputes would be settled on the streets rather than in parliament if the demands remain unmet.

Addressing a divisional rally of an 11-party alliance in Khulna on Saturday, Shafiqur said the nation must prepare for what he described as "another inevitable revolution" to build a humane Bangladesh free from corruption, extortion, and partisan influence. He pledged to mobilize a powerful street movement to achieve those goals.

The Jamaat leader alleged that previous elections had been manipulated through fraud and engineering, depriving his party of power. He said his party accepted the election outcome to avoid civil unrest but warned that failure to implement the July Charter would force the opposition to seek a resolution through public protests instead of parliamentary debate.

The rally, chaired by Jamaat Secretary General and former MP Mia Golam Parwar, was attended by leaders from several allied parties, including LDP Chairman Col. (Retd.) Oli Ahmad Bir Bikram, Bangladesh Khelafat Majlis Ameer Allama Mamunul Haque, and NCP leader Nasir Uddin Patwary. Supporters from all 10 districts of Khulna division joined the gathering.
