SSC results published, pass rate drops to 62.25%

The results of this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations have been published. 

The average pass rate across the country’s 11 education boards stood at 62.25 per cent, lower than the pass rate recorded in 2025.

Last year, the average pass rate in the SSC and equivalent examinations across the 11 education boards was 68.45 per cent. Compared with last year, this year’s pass rate declined by 6.2 percentage points.

Education Minister Dr ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon announced the results at a press conference held in the conference room of the Secondary and Higher Education Division under the Ministry of Education at around 10:00 am on Monday (August 10).

The SSC and equivalent examinations commenced on April 21 this year. Written examinations under the general education boards concluded on May 20, while written tests for Dakhil and SSC Vocational courses ended on May 24.

Over 1.857 million students completed application forms to sit for this year's SSC and equivalent examinations. Among them, 1,418,398 candidates took the examinations under the nine general education boards.
