Sixteen-year-old Cavan Sullivan, the youngest member of the Bangladeshi-origin Sullivan brothers, has earned his first call-up to the United States men's national team following an impressive season with Philadelphia Union. Sullivan has scored six goals and provided 11 assists in 23 MLS appearances this season, prompting head coach Mauricio Pochettino to include him in the 28-man squad for the team's first international window since the 2026 World Cup.
The squad features 13 uncapped players as the United States embarks on a new cycle ahead of the 2030 World Cup. Sullivan made his professional debut at just 14 in 2024 and has continued to draw attention with his performances since. Meanwhile, Christian Pulisic and Weston McKennie are among the notable absentees, whereas Yunus Musah returns to the fold.
