Bangladesh will open their 2027 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup campaign against England in Windhoek on October 8, according to the full schedule released by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Thursday for a 14-team tournament co-hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia.

The tournament will run from October 2 to November 21, with an opening three-team Super Series in Namibia determining the final participant in the Group Stage. Placed in Group B alongside New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka, England and Qualifier B, Bangladesh will subsequently face New Zealand in KuGompo City on October 12 before taking on Sri Lanka in Durban on October 16. Meanwhile, the Tigers will meet the hosts, South Africa, at the same venue on October 19 and conclude their group fixtures against Qualifier B in Tshwane on October 23.

Moreover, the top three teams from each group, together with the better-performing fourth-placed side, will advance to the Super 7 stage, which will run from October 25 to November 14. Consequently, a single slip in the group phase could prove decisive, since only a narrow margin separates qualification from elimination.

The top four teams from the Super 7 stage will progress to the semi-finals, scheduled for November 17 and 18 in Cape Town and Centurion respectively. Finally, the showpiece final will take place in Johannesburg on November 21.
