Bangladeshi documentary "Hasina: 36 Days in July" has been nominated in the Current Affairs category of the 2026 International Emmy Awards, recognising its investigation into the 36-day timeline of Bangladesh's July 2024 uprising.

Produced under Al Jazeera Investigates, the documentary explores events and investigative findings surrounding the mass movement. Bangladeshi journalist Zulkarnain Sayer, who works for Al Jazeera, served as its lead researcher and principal investigator, with Qatar representing the production at the awards.

The nomination has drawn attention to the international portrayal of the July uprising and its aftermath. According to the International Emmy Awards' official information, winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in November, when the documentary will compete in the Current Affairs category.
