Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone-starrer Raaka has secured a place in the Guinness World Records even before its theatrical release, having recorded the highest number of performers in real-time motion capture for a single sequence.
Sun Pictures announced the achievement on Monday, coinciding with director Atlee's 40th birthday. According to the production house, 37 performers were captured simultaneously in real time for a special sequence in the science-fiction action drama. Meanwhile, the company shared photographs of Allu Arjun and Atlee receiving Guinness World Records certificates and subsequently released behind-the-scenes footage showcasing the technology employed for the sequence.
The film has also generated speculation over its storyline, with reports suggesting that Allu Arjun could portray four characters -- a grandfather, a father and two sons -- and that the narrative may unfold across two parallel universes. However, the filmmakers have yet to officially confirm these details.
