Dhaka's live music scene is poised for a vibrant fortnight, with three major concerts scheduled between September 18 and October 2, featuring leading Bangladeshi bands alongside Pakistani acts Kabil and Asim Azhar. The lineup comprises ten local bands at MixTape Volume 3 on September 18, Kabil performing alongside Shironamhin and Meghdol at Wave Fest on September 26, and Asim Azhar joining Warfaze and Modernotaku on October 2.
The opening event, X Force Presents MixTape Volume 3, will bring together bands including Nemesis, AvoidRafa, Indalo, Carnival and Aftermath at Aloki, commencing at 2:30 pm. Subsequently, Wave Fest: Enjoy the Full Moon will mark Kabil's return to Dhaka nearly ten months after its previous concert was postponed owing to permission issues. The Lahore-based band first performed in Bangladesh in January 2025 and will share the stage with Shironamhin and Meghdol, forging a cross-border blend of alternative and semi-classical music.

The concert run will culminate in The Asim Ali Tour at Swadesh Arena on October 2, where Asim Azhar will perform alongside Warfaze and Modernotaku. Moreover, the event will feature opening performances by local artists ahead of the headline acts. Consequently, the three-event schedule is expected to inject fresh momentum into Dhaka's live music circuit, marrying established Bangladeshi bands with prominent Pakistani performers across a diverse range of musical styles.
