The original Surongo, released during Eid-ul-Azha in 2023, was both a commercial and critical success. Starring Afran Nisho opposite Tama Mirza, who portrayed Moyna, the film marked Nisho's memorable big-screen debut and earned widespread acclaim from audiences.
