BNP announces week-long program to honor Ziaur Rahman

The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has announced a week-long program to commemorate the death anniversary of its founder and former President, Ziaur Rahman, running from May 25 to June 1. The program details were unveiled on May 18 at the party's central office in Naya Paltan, Dhaka, by BNP Senior Joint Secretary General and Prime Minister’s Adviser, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.

Rizvi outlined that various events will take place during this period, emphasizing that party units may reschedule some observances to accommodate the Eid al-Adha celebrations, which coincide with the planned activities. As part of the commemoration, a significant discussion meeting will be held on May 31 at Ramna in Dhaka at 2:00 PM.

The BNP plans to organize additional activities across the country to honor the Shahadat anniversary of Ziaur Rahman, reflecting the party's commitment to preserving its founder's legacy.
