The Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) has reduced gold prices in the domestic market, cutting the price of 22-carat gold by Tk 1,691 per bhori, setting the new price, including VAT, at Tk 232,930.
The revised price came into effect at 10 am on Saturday, following a decision by BAJUS's Standing Committee on Pricing and Price Monitoring. Accordingly, prices for other grades of gold have also been adjusted.
