PM calls for collective efforts to build prosperous Bangladesh

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has urged patriotic citizens, business leaders, young entrepreneurs, researchers and people from all walks of life to contribute towards building a prosperous and truly desired Bangladesh.

Speaking as the chief guest at the opening of Bangladesh Innovation Fair 2026 in Dhaka on Saturday, the prime minister said collective, concerted efforts were indispensable to governing the country effectively and achieving its long-term aspirations. He commended the speakers at the event, particularly Dr Anisuzzaman, for illuminating key issues pertaining to innovation, noting that their recommendations had broadly charted the country's future course of action.

Moreover, Tarique underscored the pivotal importance of innovation and entrepreneurship in propelling national development, calling on innovators and businesses alike to come forward with inventive solutions to address the country's pressing needs. He assured entrepreneurs and researchers of the government's unwavering support, urging everyone to work in concert to build the Bangladesh they collectively aspire to see. He subsequently formally inaugurated Bangladesh Innovation Fair 2026.
