The winners of the Under-19 World Cup are returning home today. The aircraft carrying the world champions will land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Wednesday at 4:55pm.

The under-19 team at the airport will receive a warm greeting from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

BCB CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury Sujan said Tuesday, “They would arrive at around 5pm tomorrow. That is how it is being planned. Since the boys have been out of the country for a long time, considering everything we are keeping some arrangements in as short a time as possible. After arriving at the airport, they will be taken to board after greetings. They will be sent to their families as soon as possible after the ceremony.”

Bangladesh won the World Cup title for the first time after defeating India by 3 wickets at Potchefstroom on Sunday.
