No evidence of rape has been found in the body of Stamford University Bangladesh student Rubaiyat Sharmin Rumpa, coroner has said.

Dr Sohel Mahmud, head of Forensic Department at Dhaka Medical College, told.

On December 4, police recovered the body of Rumpa, 21, a second year student of English Department, from 68 Siddheswari Circular Road, behind Ayesha Complex in Dhaka.

Claiming that Rumpa, daughter of police Inspector Rokan Uddin, was murdered, her family members and fellow students demanded arrest of the perpetrators.
