JS to remain in session for 5 days - National

Dhaka: The 23rd session of the 10th Jatiya Sangsad will continue for five days from October 21 to October 25.

The decision was taken at the meeting of the Business Advisory Council of the Jatiya Sangsad held at Jatiya Sangsad BHABAN, a release of the parliament secretariat said.

However, the Speaker, if necessary, can change the date and time of the session, the release said.

Speaker Shirin Sharmin Choudhury presided over the meeting attended by Leader of the House Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Leader of the Opposition Rowshan Ershad and members of the business advisory council Amir Hossain Amu, Tofail Ahmed, Moinuddain Khan Badal, and Anisul Haq were present.

Senior secretary of the Jatiya Sangsad Dr Md. Abdur Rob Hawlader was also present.
