Dhaka: Radio Amber, a leading FM radio in the country, celebrated the second founding anniversary on Monday with a fresh vow to bring innovation in its programs.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the organization Mohammad Aminul Hakim inaugurated the founding anniversary by cutting cake at the office of the radio at Gulshan in the capital in the afternoon.
Radio DhakaFM Chairman Doly Iqbal, singer Shuvradeb, Tanvir Alam Sajib, Rizia Parvin, film hero Ujjal, DhakaFM Director (Technical) M Anisuzzaman and Radio Amber program head Tanmoy Tansen were present at the function.
Addressing the function, Aminul Hakim said, “We are trying to make old and traditional Bengali songs popular to our young generation.”
Different organizations, including newsbangladesh.com and DhakaFM, greeted the country’s popular FM radio.
Radio Amber 102.4, the first classified FM radio, began broadcasting on September 1, 2016.
The FM radio is a 24-hour broadcast radio station running 19+ hours of live programs.
