3 killed in capital militant den - National

Dhaka: Three men were killed after Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) carried out an anti-militant drive in a suspected militant hideout at West Nakhalpara in the city early Friday.

RAB identified them as suspected militants.

RAB law and mass media director commander Mufti Mahmud Khan confirmed it.

He said, tipped off, a RAB team cordoned off a six-storey building at West Nakhalpara around 2:00 am.

“At one stage, the militants opened fire and hurled grenades targeting RAB.”

“Three militants were killed during the drive.”

Meanwhile, RAB bomb disposal unit entered the building.
