The actress said their wedding was held at Shakib Khan's Gulshan residence in Dhaka on April 18, 2008. The marriage was registered by a quazi who was brought in from Bhanga in Faridpur district. Apu Biswas, a Hindu, was then converted to Islam and her name was kept Apu Islam Khan.
