Dhullywood popular actress Apu Biswas suddenly appeared at a television channel on Monday with a baby boy, claiming that she married to actor Shakib Khan and the boy was their son.
Dhaka: Remaining absent for a long time, Dhullywood actress Apu Biswas suddenly appeared at a local television channel on Monday afternoon with a baby boy, claiming that she married to actor Shakib Khan and the boy was their son.
In an interview given to the television channel 'News24' which was broadcast live in the afternoon, Apu Biswas said she became the mother of Shakib Khan's son. "I want to live in peace with my son."
Apu said: "Shakib frequently comes to her residence to see his son. He likes his son. He even gives money for him."
The actress said their wedding was held at Shakib Khan's Gulshan residence in Dhaka on April 18, 2008. The marriage was registered by a quazi who was brought in from Bhanga in Faridpur district. Apu Biswas, a Hindu, was then converted to Islam and her name was kept Apu Islam Khan.
Close relatives of both Shakib Khan and Apu Biswas were present at the marriage ceremony. "A film producer was also present there," she said. "It (marriage) has been kept secret at the wish of Shakib Khan so far."
On September 27, 2016, Apu Biswas gave birth to a baby boy at a clinic in Kolkata. The child was later named Abraham Khan Joy.
Despite repeated requests of Apu, Shakib Khan did not go the clinic in Kolkata during the delivery of his son.
Since the conceiving her son, Apu Biswas remained abroad.
Seeking blessings of all, Apu said she wanted to rear up her son like a 'true human being.'
"I don't want that my son cheats any girl in his life, and I want to rear him up in that way," she said.
It may be mentioned that Shakib and Apu worked together in the Dhullywood filmdom through the Bengali film 'Koti Takar Kabin' in 2006.
When contacted, Shakib Khan admitted about his marriage with Apu Biswas and birth of their son.
